Today we are going to talk about adjectives describing geo-
graphical features. 
Ex. 1. Listening (whole class work) 
Teacher pays students attention to the picture and elicit 
questions about Sharyn Canyon from students around the 
class. Write three of them on the board.
1. What is it? 
2. How long is it? 
3. Where is it? 
4. What animals live there? Etc.
Teacher plays the recording. Students listen and follow the 
text in their books and find out if there questions were an-
swered.

4. Hares, foxes, snakes, marmots, lizards, fish.
