The basis of the scientific method is asking questions and then trying to come up with the answers. You could ask, “Why do dogs and cats have hair?” One answer might be that it keeps them warm. BOOM! It’s the scientific method in action. (OK, settle down)

In physics we measure length, mass, time, temperature, electricity, light and atoms. The standards are defined in SI (Systeme Internatinal)

Length is measured in meters, mass is measured in kilograms6 time is measured in seconds. By measuring length width and height of the object we can determine its area and volume. In multiplication and division the lowest number of significant figures is used for the answer.
