Instructor:  Cadet:  Repeats the topic to cadets  Are divided into a groups of 3-4 Gives 3-4 main questions to discuss  Studying the list of questions  Gives 5 minutes to prepare  Preparing the main formulations  Reminds that using the terminology is essential  Accumulates the terminology into answers  Listens to the cadets’ answers, corrects them  Gives the feedback to the group and listens to  other members  Creates interactive atmosphere  Tries to be involved to the group work and  speaking  Makes conclusions  Makes summary  Sample of the lesson with the discussion component  Course: 2  Subject: English Language  Topic: Part 1: Explanation of the theme with new terminology by an instructor with the visual effects (15 min.);  Part 2: In class text reading and repeating new terminology in class (20 min.);  Part 3: Grammar exercises (20 min.);  Part 4: Discussion on the topic with new vocabulary usage (15 min.).  Key terminology: List of Questions.  Conclusion.  Thus, the discussion component could be successfully included into the lesson structure  practically at any level of the foreign language learning. Studying the experience of the international  universities, one can clearly see the advantages of the latter. The timing for this activity may vary, and can  potentially increase with the growth of cadets’ level of English. Widening the vocabulary and professional  terminology finally allows cadets and instructor to increase the length of the discussions, enabling cadets to  speak out fluently and absorb the materials dynamically.
