INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS

The  Independent  Work  of  Students  (IWS)  is  the  special  type  of  educational
activities  of  students  directed  to  independent  accomplishment  of  a  didactic  task,
forming  of  interest  in  cognitive  activity  and  increasing  knowledge  in  the  field  of
the learned foreign language.
SRS  is  connected  with  implementation  of  the  practical  tasks  providing
development  of  creative  activity,  research  approach  in  development  of  a  training
material.
The  SRS  out-of-class  form  assumes  independent  development  of  a  training
material in the conditions of library, a computer class.
Independent work of students under the leadership of the teacher (SRSP) is carried
out  in the  form  of  classroom  occupation. SRSP performs  two functions: advisory
and controlling.
Advisory function:
help in independent work of students;
help to the student in the choice of the methods of work necessary for assimilation
of a training material;
contribution to profound studying of a training material.
The controlling SRSP function is performed during the current, rubezhny and final
accounting and assessment of knowledge of students for increase in motivation.
This program provided the following types of tasks for SRS:
1. The special professional oriented material for studying of the Web instruments
of programming.
2.  The  analysis  of  remedies  in  a  professional  foreign  language  for  the  choice  of
optimum structure of protection of the software.
3.  Discussion  of  benefits  and  shortcomings  of  modern  means  of  anti-virus
protection in a foreign language.
4.  The  written  analysis  of  texts  in  different  forms  of  the  academic  letter  in  a
professional foreign language.
5.  Professional  communication  in  a  foreign  language  in  the  form  of  oral
performances, the presentations, reports.
